"Marchin On"

I got an e-mail from DCI with news of a rule change being proposed...

A rule change that would allow me to march in the summer of 2011.

It still has a little while before it gets passed, but if it does I have very little choice but to believe that I have just been offered an extension of my performance life. We'll have to see how things play out, but it was just odd that after such a long time of trying to decide and then ultimately deciding not to, this rule change gets proposed that would allow me another year.

(In other news, my iPod is missing, and this has been one of the most painful days of my college life. I'm hoping it's in my car. It better be in my car.)
