"I Woke Up In A Car"

Sorry for the lack of updates. It has been an interesting few days.

On Monday my car started to make some interesting noises on the way back from Mooresville (where my eyes were definitely

bigger than my stomach, as you can see in the picture), which led to a whole fiasco of figuring out what the noise was, a few phone calls to my parents, and ultimately a trip to the Ford dealership tomorrow morning, assuming that I can actually get in. If not, I'm not really sure how this weekend is going to work out for me...

Speaking of this weekend, in addition to a trip home, my girls at Memorial have their first winter guard contest in Jasper. I'll be sure to take as many pictures as I can and perhaps get a video of the show. Based on last week's scores, I'm not anticipating us being promoted to Class A this year (the promotion score last week was so high that even guards that are actually in Class A didn't score that high), but I'm still excited to see where this season takes us. One of the girls won't be performing, and apparently they've changed the ending of the show significantly from our original ideas, so I'm really interested to see how this goes.

As much as I would love to stay and finish this entry, I suppose I should probably go to class now. I wound up not going to German or M118 this morning in favor of actually reading for T284--again, it came down to a decision of skipping classes that I have zero interest in and will not affect me beyond this semester or being completely lost in a 3-hour lab that would ultimately effect my grade in a class for my major. My major won out, so German and math will just have to wait until Friday.
