And just like that, my first class has been dropped. Haha.

I didn't really want to do it, but I think it had to be done. It's my F100 drawing class, which sounds like it would be really fun, but ultimately not useful since I'm not convinced that I want to pursue the graphic design minor. The class requires at least ten hours of outside work time, and that's time I just can't spare for something I'm not completely invested in. The last thing I want to do is realize halfway through the semester that I'm wasting ten hours a week on something I don't want to pursue. Even if I do graphic design, there isn't a whole lot in this class that directly relates to it, so it's not even introducing me to something I'll encounter later.
I have decided to at least try to teach myself to draw though. I'm really interested in it, but like I said, ten extra hours a week just isn't going to be the best idea for me right now. I need to get some other things in line before I pull a trick like that.
Intro to the New Testament however sounds like it's going to be a heck of a good time. The class is really awkward because it's a big lecture and we were all crammed in today, but since he doesn't take attendance I'm kind of hoping that will only be an issue on test days after the first week. That's usually what happens, anyway.
