Mail Call

I love getting mail. You really have no idea. And even though I never read magazines, it makes me happy when I come home and find any kind of mail on my bed or in the mailbox.

I subscribed to Electronic Gaming Monthly a little while back, and honestly I don't remember missing my copy of the magazine every month... But apparently they stopped publishing in January. How do I know this? Because of this copy of Maxim that was sitting on my bed a couple days ago.

The little sticker on the cover says something about how EGM has ceased publishing as of January 2009, and the remainder of my subscription will be carried out through Maxim.

Hmm... You know, for some reason, I just don't think that Maxim is a suitable alternative to a magazine strictly about video games. What about the female EGM subscribers? And did my 11-year-old nephew get this issue of Maxim instead of his monthly EGM? I mean seriously, one of the articles was a "Sex Checklist" to "see if my woman is ready for light BDSM, role playing, filming our sex, and/or anal sex."

Hey girl, no. I'd just like my refund, please.
