Okay, so there is obviously much more going on in my life than what I'm about to put in here, but this just scared the crap out of me, but I'm in a hurry, so I'm writing this as quickly as I can.
So, IU tested their emergency alert system on Friday, and I just read an e-mail from the system warning us about a threat on campus:
Cautionary message -- All persons at IU Bloomington are urged to exercise caution while walking outdoors. About 12:30 a.m. Saturday, an unidentified male suddenly ran up behind a group of students walking along 17th Street near Woodlawn Ave and cut three of them with a sharp edged weapon. The assailant then ran southeast from the location. The injuries were not life-threatening but required immediate treatment. The attacker was described as a white male, 18 to 20 years old, approx. 5-feet-11 and wearing a white hoodie. A composite drawing can be seen at http://www.indianauniversity.info/. Anyone who may have seen someone answering this description or have information about this incident should contact the IU Police at 812-855-4111. Students, faculty and staff should be alert while walking on and near campus. Further updates will be posted at http://www.indianauniversity.info. End.Here's the composite sketch of "the assailant."

Uh. Creepy.
And just check out the big image on the top of the indianauniversity.info page. It makes me afraid of everything. I feel like I'm living in the Summer of the Anything.
This is just not cool.
